Enjoy Family Fun with These Area Halloween Parties

There is no better time of the year to have a party than during the Halloween season. After all, Halloween provides you with the opportunity to dress up as your favorite characters, spooks or celebrities. In addition, the holiday offers plenty of opportunity to enjoy candy and other sweet treats while spending time with friends in a fun atmosphere. If you are looking for a family-friendly way to enjoy Halloween in Orange County this year, you will be happy to know that there are plenty of opportunities available. Here are just a few of the family-friendly Halloween parties taking place in the area this year.

Trunk or Treat at Little Cottonwood Park

Little Cottonwood Park in Los Alamitos will host a Trunk or Treat event on October 28th from 5:00 pm until 7:30 pm. This free event will include trunk-or-treating as well as games, treasure hunting and a costume contest. Participants are invited to dress in costume for the event and are reminded to bring a bad for collecting their goodies. Little Cottonwood Park is located at 4000 Farquhar Avenue in Los Alamitos.

Trunk-or-Treat at King of Kings Lutheran Church

King of Kings Lutheran Church hosts Trunk-or-Treat every year for families to enjoy a safe holiday. Kids are invited to come in their costumes as they play games, participate in trick-or-treating and enjoy a meal. Photo opportunities are also available. Trunk-or-Treat takes place at the King of Kings Lutheran Church and School, which is located at 13431 Newhope Street in Garden Grove.

Kidz Block Party

Presented by The Cause Community Church, the Kidz Block Party is a family-friendly event taking place on Halloween night. The free event will feature pony rides, face painting, a bounce house, games, a rock climbing wall, a petting zoo and other free entertainment. It will also include raffles, prizes and free candy.

The Kidz Block Party takes place on October 31st from 5:00 to 9:00 pm in Brea Downtown at E Birch Street and S Brea Boulevard.

Main Street Halloween Fest

The Main Street Halloween Fest will take place on Halloween night in Downtown Huntington Beach. Open to children of all ages, the annual celebration will include a petting zoo, rides, a photo booth, a costume contest and more. The event, which is made possible by the Downtown Business Improvement District, will take place on Main Street and 5th Street by the Pacific Coast Highway.

Trick-Or-Treating Through the City

Pretend City in Irvine will host Trick-Or-Treating Through the City on October 31st from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. During this special extravaganza, guests are invited to stop by the museum to participate in the Halloween Bug Bash and to enjoy trick-or-treating through the different stations of the city.

Pretend City is located at 29 Hubble in Irvine. Children and adults are admitted for $12.50, while military members and their family are admitted for $9.50. Infants up to age 12 months and members are admitted for free. The cost of participation in Trick-Or-Treating Through the City is included in the cost of admission.
